Toddlers, PreSchool, & Pre-K Process
Parents/guardians are to make an appointment to view the school facility with your child/children and allow us to answer any questions you might have regarding our program. If parents/guardians are interested in having their child/children admitted to the Preschool, registration forms must be completed and submitted for consideration on a space-available basis.
Students are enrolled on a space-available basis. If there is no space available, the child’s name will be put on our wait list. The parents/guardians will be notified when space is available. Please note, however, that due to limited space, being on the wait list is not a guarantee of enrollment.
Admissions Process for Students Entering Kindergarten through 8th Grades
1. Schedule a tour
Selecting the right Christian school is an important decision. To help you, we offer a personal, guided tour of our school during which all of your questions and concerns are individually addressed. Tours are conducted Monday through Friday and must be scheduled in advance. At the tour, you will receive a packet with information about our program and the current fee/tuition book. If you have further questions or would like to schedule a tour, please call the Registrar’s office at 650-266-4336 or complete the Tour Request form on our website.
2. Arrange for placement testing
Once you have taken a tour, you may make arrangements with the Registrar’s office for placement testing for your child. All new applicants are tested and evaluated prior to registering to insure appropriate grade placement. Selected sub-tests of the current curriculum along with specialized reading, math and writing assessments are used for all grades except Kindergarten. A readiness test is given to students entering Kindergarten. The fee for testing and evaluation is $100 and is not refundable. Testing and evaluation do not guarantee enrollment.
3. Meet with the administrator
After your child has taken the placement test, an appointment will be made for you and your child to meet with our administrator. During this appointment, the administrator will review your child’s placement test results and discuss enrollment options with you.
Enrollment is based on space availability, testing and evaluation results, previous report cards, receipt of requested materials, references and your meeting with the administrator.
