HCS Conservatory

Miss Linda Boschult is the Director of the Highlands Conservatory of Music. Miss Boschult has been teaching at the Highlands Conservatory since 1985. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Seattle Pacific University and her Master of Music degree from Michigan State University. She is currently teaching piano and flute.

Mrs Patricia Cayetano graduated Phi Kappa Lambda from Oberlin Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance where she also studied Baroque violin. She continued her studies at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and was Assistant Principal 2nd Violin with the South Bend Symphony for three seasons. She has been teaching violin for the Conservatory for over fifteen years.

Mrs Patricia Cayetano

Mrs Hanako Ellis graduated from Doshisha Women’s College in Kyoto, Japan, with a bachelor’s degree in clarinet performance and a minor in piano. She has performed with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and is trained with both French and German styles of clarinet. She taught clarinet in Tokyo for six years, until moving to the Bay Area at the end of 2013. Mrs. Ellis joined Highlands in January 2015, and is excited to be teaching!

She taught clarinet in Tokyo for six years, until moving to the Bay Area at the end of 2013. Mrs. Ellis joined Highlands in January 2015, and is excited to be teaching!

 
Mrs Lois Ma joined the Highlands Conservatory in 2004. Mrs. Ma studied with professors at Shanghai Conservatory for over 10 years. She has taught piano and has been an active church musician for 9 years. Mrs. Ma is also a member of the National Music Teachers Association.

Mr. Curt Moore received his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University with an emphasis in jazz performance. He has over 100 recordings to his credit and has shared the recording studio stage with a wide variety of artists. Currently Curt is playing drums and percussion at Church of the Highlands for weekend services.

Mr Paul Nemeth received a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from the University of Denver. He currently plays bass guitar on weekends for worship services at Church of the Highlands.

Mrs Lee Reyes is extensively experienced in teaching students of all ages. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from CSU Sacramento with Undergraduate Studies in Music as a piano performance major. She also served as a music teacher for Calvary Chapel Christian School in Downey, CA (K-12). She is an active performing and professional worship musician, and is involved in music ministry at Church of the Highlands.

She also served as a music teacher for Calvary Chapel Christian School in Downey, CA (K-12). She is an active performing and professional worship musician, and is involved in music ministry at Church of the Highlands.

 
Mr Tom Reyes has over 25 years experience teaching private students in Elementary, Junior High and High School, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from CSU Dominguez Hills. He also served as the instrumental Band Director and taught High School worship teams at a private Christian school in Southern California during the last 22 years. Mr. Reyes serves as a Worship Leader Associate for Church of the Highlands.

In his spare time, Ben writes arrangements for Mr. Talbert’s bands, primarily his Jazz Band.
