Dalton Miranda is an experienced educator. Working with children and adults has been his calling for over 20 years. He started out working with children in an afternoon school extended care program in San Francisco and the summer camp at the YMCA in Chinatown. He knows that the Lord gave him this calling to communicate the love of God to children and families and this would be his life's work. This desire and focus brought him to Highlands Christian School.
Dalton began his education in the Philippines and graduated from San Francisco's Wallenberg High School. At San Francisco State University, he earned his BA in Political Science and MA in Educational Leadership. He taught for 4 years at Alpha Beacon Christian Schools in San Carlos and then joined the South San Francisco Unified School District. He taught elementary school classrooms for 3.5 years and became a school administrator for the last 10 years. He has been the Vice Principal of Alta Loma Middle School and Principal of Junipero Serra Elementary School. He loves to work with students and teachers to make everyone achieve their goals.
After work, Mr. Miranda loves to spend time with his wife, Paying. They spend a lot of time traveling together to visit family. They are both members of Church of the Highlands and are involved in various ministries. On his off hours, he loves to watch action movies, read political thrillers and ride his bicycle.
Dalton's first love is our Lord Jesus Christ. He and his wife love to support and strengthen marriages. He is grateful to be able to serve at Highlands Christian Schools and he looks forward to meeting all of you.
